Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi ( 1999)
Raj Kaushal's first film as director. Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi is a youth oriented film set against the backdrop of a Performing Arts College. The film also deals with the issue of AIDS. The films boasts of an ensemble cast. With this film Raj launched 183 newcomers in the industry in various fields; acting, music, cinematography, choreography and more. To name a few; Dino Morea, Sanjay Suri, Rinki Khanna, Shweta Salve, Akashdeep Saigal. Vishal Shekar, Salim Sulaiman, Shaan, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Shiraz Bhattacharya, Geeta Kapoor, Longines Fernandes, Rajeev Jain... Also a first for an Advertising Agency, Percept Picture Company to produce a full length film. For the first time Hollywood giant, Columbia Tristar acquired the worldwide distribution rights of a Hindi feature film. Rinki Khanna won a Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut.
Shaadi Ka Laddoo ( 2004)
Shaadi ka Laddoo, Raj Kaushal's second film is an Indian comedy based around marriage and love in the life of two men, Sanjay Suri and Ashish Chaudhary. Raj co- produced this film and it also starred his wife Mandira Bedi. He launched Negar Khan's career and it had the first 2D animation song a first in the Indian Film Industry pictured on her. The film was shot in one schedule in the city of London. Raj again chose music directors Vishal- Shekhar after already building a rapport with them in his first film.
Anthony Kaun Hai? ( 2006)
Anthony Kaun hai? As the title suggests is a mystery film, it encompasses the genres of action, thriller and comedy. The film starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Minissha Lamba and Rajhuvir Yadav. The story revolves around a small time crook, an assassin, a magician and a diamond heist from within a Thai jail. This film produced by Nikhil Panchamiya was shot entirely in Thailand. Shot in beautiful locales in Krabi and Bangkok. Written by Soumik Sen who for the first time donned the writer's cap for a Raj Kaushal film.
